Mont Reve is in the phase of the build that rewards patience. The work is quieter now, and the difference it makes is what you will see at the end.
This month, the facade works are progressing. The first coats of skim and paint are going on. Inside, the general fit-out is continuing. And on the retail side, one meaningful line has moved: the retail component is now fully let.
Skim and paint sound like the smallest details in a build of this scale, and in a way they are. But they are also the coats that decide how the finished building reads to the eye. A skimmed wall that is flat under raking light, a paint finish that holds its colour, these are the finishes that separate a considered build from an ordinary one.
First coats are just that: the first. There are more to come. Every coat is a chance to catch something, correct something, refine something.

Across the building, the general fit-out is continuing. This is the long, layered stage where each apartment and each floor moves toward completion in its own sequence. Not dramatic, but constant.

The retail component of Mont Reve is now fully let. Every unit is spoken for, and the tenants who will bring the ground floor to life are contracted and locked in.
This matters for two reasons. It means the street-facing experience of Mont Reve is defined, and it means the fit-out programme downstairs can move with certainty. There will be more to share about the tenants themselves in due course.
First coats going on outside, fit-out continuing inside, retail fully let downstairs. Mont Reve is finishing itself.

For more than 30 years, Saul and Paul Berman have built one way. Hands on. On site. Personally involved in every brick and every handover. These monthly updates exist to show the work behind the milestones, not the milestones alone. Follow the development on the Mont Reve project page, or catch up on last month's update.
